On September 1, 2017, Legal Services of Southern Piedmont celebrated its 50th anniversary addressing the civil legal needs of low income people in the Charlotte area. In celebration of this history of good work, LSSP has updated its name — it will now be known as the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy.
