Pro Bono Volunteers Needed!
As our neighbors in Eastern NC deal with devastating flooding and losses, many are thinking about ways to help, and we want to share two immediate ways for pro bono attorneys to help:
- Volunteer your time with the disaster response team led by Legal Aid of North Carolina and the NC Bar Association. This pro bono opportunity can be done from your office, and you will have access to a bank of legal information that will help you assist survivors of Hurricane Florence.
- Help update a disaster relief manual for pro bono attorneys here in North Carolina. This manual is based on the Texas disaster legal relief manual created by Lone Star Legal Aid. Share your area of expertise and help us update this manual.
