In honor of the Pro Bono Institute’s Financial Institution Pro Bono Day,
please join us for a CLE training on how to handle Special Immigrant
Juvenile Status (SIJS) custody cases with Charlotte Center for Legal
Advocay (CCLA). CCLA provides legal representation to immigrant
children who have been abused, neglected or mistreated by a parent
and enables them to begin the process towards permanent residency in
the United States. Volunteers will then work in teams to take SIJS cases
from CCLA. This training is open to all Wells Fargo and McGuireWoods
attorneys and legal professionals in Charlotte. Please register by April 10.
