Juvenile Parole Project

Presented by the Juvenile Parole Project: A Collaboration Between UNC School of Law Pro Bono Program and North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services, Inc.
Attorneys: Learn how to work with law students to provide pro bono representation in parole hearings for inmates convicted of offenses committed as juveniles. The program will cover the history of juvenile parole cases, the nuts and bolts of representing someone on parole review, and practical considerations for working with people who are incarcerated. Attendees will receive 2 hours of CLE credit, pending approval from the NC State Bar. Lunch will be provided.

*Attorneys attending will be asked to take on a case for representation (at their convenience) and be added to our volunteer list.
