The UNC Law Cancer Pro Bono Project provides legal assistance to cancer patients at UNC's Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The program serves oncology patients and their family members with information and assistance about financial and health care powers of attorney and advance directives ("living wills"). Legal Aid of North Carolina's Medical Legal Partnership Program partners with UNC School of Law to administer and supervise this project. Attorneys supervise students at clinics held one Friday per month at the North Carolina Cancer Hospital, located in Chapel Hill.
