The ABA Young Lawyers Division is seeking volunteers to remotely help with FEMA appeals and other issues in American Samoa resulting from Tropical Storm Gita. You do not need to have prior experience in this area and training, mentorship, and templates are available. You may be licensed in any state to participate.
Time commitment varies depending on volunteer availability. American Samoa is 7 hours behind EST, so if you set aside some time in the afternoon/evening, you'll be corresponding during the normal workday in American Samoa.
