The BCLT group seeks legal assistance to create a 501(c)(3), achieve tax exempt status, and establish the BCLT as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO).

Attorney time as needed to accomplish the following activities: non-profit entity formation (counsel on name, draft and file articles of incorporation); counsel on board structure; create bylaws that conform to the community land trust structure and operating requirements; apply for FEIN and submit IRS Form 1023 requesting 501(c)(3) designation; counsel/assist regarding other state or municipal filing requirements.
