DESCRIPTION:In honor of the Pro Bono Institute’s Financial Institution Pro Bono Day\,\nplease join us for a CLE training on how to handle Special Immigrant\nJuvenile Status (SIJS) custody cases with Charlotte Center for Legal\nAdvocay (CCLA). CCLA provides legal representation to immigrant\nchildren who have been abused\, neglected or mistreated by a parent\nand enables them to begin the process towards permanent residency in\nthe United States. Volunteers will then work in teams to take SIJS cases\nfrom CCLA. This training is open to all Wells Fargo and McGuireWoods\nattorneys and legal professionals in Charlotte.
