DESCRIPTION:Join attorneys from the NC Justice Center and Legal Aid to discuss the most recent updates in expungment law and the most common forms for expungement relief. The Honorable Jennifer Knox and Daniel Bowes will present this free CLE for 1.75 hours of credit on January 10 at the Wake County Courthouse room 1113 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. The CLE training is mandatory for everyone who wants to assist clients with expunctions at the legal clinic on February 10\, but all are invited to attend. DESCRIPTION:If you have already volunteered as a supervising attorney with the Cancer Project\, you know how meaningful advance directive documents can be in bringing peace of mind to individuals facing daunting and difficult medical situations. If you have not had the chance to volunteer in this role\, we invite you to join us! \nTo learn more about this program and about the substantive law which it provides\, please register to attend the UNC Cancer Pro Bono Legal Project CLE\, to be held at the UNC School of Law on January 26 at 9am. This CLE will both provide an overview of substantive law necessary for attorneys participating in the UNC Cancer Pro Bono Legal Project\, a collaborative project sponsored by the UNC School of Law’s Pro Bono Program\, NC Cancer Hospital\, and Legal Aid of North Carolina.
