Thank you for contacting the NC Pro Bono Resource Center.
Please note that the Pro Bono Resource Center does not provide direct legal services to individuals. Instead, we work with legal services providers to identify pro bono opportunities for lawyers on civil matters.
If you are seeking legal services, we will not be able to assist you. Below are a few resources that you may find helpful:
- Free Legal Answers at https://nc.freelegalanswers.org/
- NC Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service at http://www.ncbar.org/public-resources/lawyer-referral-service/ can connect you to a 30 minute consultation with a lawyer for a reduced rate.
- If you are in the Mecklenburg County area, you may be able to get legal information and resources from the SelfServe Center located in the Mecklenburg County Courthouse at 832 E. Fourth St, Ste. 3350, Charlotte, NC 28202. https://www.nccourts.gov/locations/mecklenburg-county/selfserve-center
